2014 National Motorcycle Champions Named
The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club [BMRC] 2014 National Championship Series has come to a close.
The BMRC said, “The series ran over the months of May through September of 2014 with riders competing across six championship categories in the BMRC’s Circuit Racing Series.
“The series, initially scheduled for twelve events, completed five races and came to a premature end due to adverse weather conditions and an all-time low turn-out of race competitors; the current economic climate having no small part in participation.
“The following riders dedicated their time and energy to competing in their respective classes and took the overall victory championships for 2014.”
The 2014 BMRC National Champions are
- Cody Sousa-Saints – 2014 Superbike 600 National Champion
- Haley Place – 2014 GP125 National Champion
- Jevaugh Simons – 2014 Formula Xtreme National Champion
- Ricardo Wade – 2014 Scooter 70 National Champion
- Shae Darrell – 2014 GP80 National Champion
- C.J. Sousa-Saints – 2014 GP70 National Champion
With the 2014 National Championship coming to a close the club has shifted its focus to the promotion of three “Open Track Days & Riding Clinics”. Three events have been scheduled starting with the first event on Sunday, September 21, 2014.
