49 Year Old Denies Using Offensive Words

September 18, 2014

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Sept 18], a 49 year old man denied using offensive words.

Mark Simons pleaded not guilty to a single charge of using offensive words in the Somerset Cricket Club car park on 1st August 2014, which was during the Cup Match holiday.

The charge alleged that he said to another man: “Your wife is nothing but a b**** and a w****. I will chop you down to your knees. F*** you.”

Magistrate Juan Wolffe set trial for November, granted bail of $500 and ordered that Mr Simons should not have any contact with the man or any witnesses.
