Ascendant Group Appoints Zehena Davis

ZehenaJDavis7064_8x10Ascendant Group Limited announced today Zehena J. Davis [pictured] has been named Vice President, Human Resources, effective immediately.

Ms. Davis, who is Bermudian, is returning to the Island, having lived and worked in the United States since 1996.

In making the announcement, Walter M. Higgins, President & Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are confident that Ascendant Group will benefit from Ms. Davis’ broad experience, which includes developing strategies for change management and linking strategic plans to business results, relationship building, process improvement and increased efficiencies.

“We are pleased to welcome her to Ascendant Group, and will provide her with full support as she learns about the company and our staff.”

Ms. Davis has successfully managed all aspects of Human Resources in large and small organizations. She joins Ascendant Group from Crowne Office Suites Inc., Atlanta, Georgia, where she served as Center Manager.

Prior to joining Crowne, she was Managing Partner of Atlanta International Consulting Group, a full-service marketing and merchandising company.

Ms. Davis also worked for a number of years for Marriott International, serving as Director of Human Resources for their Chateau Élan Winery and Resort in Braselton, Georgia and Castle Harbour Resort in Bermuda.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master of Public Administration degree in Human Resources Management from Clark Atlanta University.
