Change Of KEMH Visiting Hours On Sunday

September 12, 2014

There will be no visiting hours on Cooper, Curtis and Perry Wards this Sunday [Sept 14], and patients with acute conditions on those wards will be transferred to the new Acute Care Wing on Sunday.

“Visiting hours from 6 pm to 8 pm will be in place for those patients in the new wing on Sunday,” said Bermuda Hospitals Board President and CEO Venetta Symonds.

“We understand the need for patients to be able to see and have their loved ones visit them while they are in our care. Normal visiting hours of noon to 8pm will take effect from Monday 15 September.”

Normal visiting hours remain in place in the General Wing of KEMH for those wards not moving to the new wing including: the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Gosling – Children’s Ward, Maternity and Gordon Wards.

If you have any questions regarding visiting hours this weekend please call 239-5990. Information is also available on Facebook at AcuteCare Bermuda and on the BHB website, www.bermudahospitals.bm
