Darrell Named Player Of Week After Hat-Trick
Bermuda’s Jordan Darrell, along with Megan Spicer, was chosen as the Holland Hurricanes Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 7th, after the footballer secured a hat-trick to lead his team to victory.
The Canadian school said that Darrell “made an impact on the field in his first weekend with the Hurricanes scoring three times in the Hurricanes 4-1 win over the UNBSJ Seawolves on Sunday in Saint John.”
The Bermudian footballer opened the scoring in the 12th minute, added his second of the game 16 minutes later, and before the final whistle was blown Darrell would complete the hat-trick, giving Holland the 4-1 win and improving their record to 2-0 on the season.
