Marco Warren Scores In Flagler College Tie
Flagler College scored two goals late in the second half to come away with a 2-2 double-overtime tie with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in a men’s soccer season opener for both teams.
Bermuda’s Marco Warren scored one of the two goals for Flagler, and his goal came after he knocked in his fellow Bermudian team member Triston Hall’s header in the 77th minute.
The match drew a record 1,032 fans as the new grandstand was opened.
Flagler will now get ready for a key in-region match with Anderson [S.C.] University on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Saints Field.
