Premier Stops By Police CAT Clinic At Lindo’s
Earlier this week, the Premier and Minister of National Security Michael Dunkley stopped in on the members of the Police Community Action Team who were hosting a ‘Meet Your Community Action Team [CAT] Officers’ Outreach Clinic at Lindo’s Market in Devonshire.
“The public will be aware that the community outreach initiative is an avenue for members of the public to voice any concerns they may have about ongoing anti-social or criminal activity in their neighborhoods, receive Neighborhood Watch Group information, as well as receive crime prevention information and pamphlets including financial crime prevention tips,” a spokesperson said.
The Premier, who was joined by Sen. Jeffery Baron, said that “the CAT Officers play a vital role in ensuring safer and more securer neighbourhoods”, and he felt it was important to visit the Police team yesterday to show his support for their proactive efforts in engaging and educating the community.
