Reminder: Tuckers Town Cemetery Proposal
The Department of Planning said they would like to remind the public “that the public consultation period regarding the proposal, made by the Minister of Home Affairs, Sen. Michael Fahy, that Tuckers Town Cemetery be designated a Grade HM or Historic Monument Listed Building ends on Friday September 26th 2014. 2014.
“Any comments may be sent to the Permanent Secretary [Home Affairs], c/o Forward Planning, Department of Planning, Dame Lois Browne-Evans Building, 5th Floor, 58 Court Street, Hamilton, HM 12. For more information email: rmlowry@gov.bm.
“Upon the conclusion of the public consultation period, the Minister will make his final decision on the listing designation. The Tuckers Town Cemetery is currently already a Historic Protection Area under the Bermuda Plan 2008.”
