Football: BFA Announces Standing Committees

October 20, 2014

The Bermuda Football Association announced the following appointments to the BFA Standing Committees following the recent Annual Congress Meeting and Elections.

A spokesperson said, “The BFA thanks the Executive members for accepting the appointments and we look forward to an exciting year with fully functional committees that plan and execute our programmes. Just when you thought it couldnt get worse..Bam!!

Which areas do you feel the BFA has a weakness in? Honest question.

  2. Foolishness says:

I guess that means you will be bringing your extensive administrative and management skills to the table very soon. Or will you stay behind the PC and continue with the drivel.

  3. jonah says:

Nope, but I pray that someone does. The FA has been mismanaged for years and it continues because the clubs are as inept. Crap in, crap out.

Can you list one (1) meaningful thing that the FA has done in 5 years? Being on FIFA and Concacaf committees don’t count.

If not for a few organizations that opearate outside of the FA , football would be doomed. Fact!!!

*Do we have a senior team? When did they last compete in a meaningful competition? In fact, who is the senior coach?

*What meaningful coaching courses have the FA – independent of other organizations, staged in the past 5 years?

    * Why do they pay Match Commissioners when they have ( paid ) assistant referees – particularly when their funds have been significantly reduced?

    * Will we ever see a foreign senior team compete on our shores again? Ooops, wait, we don’t have a senior team. Delete!

    Sigh!!!

  4. Foolishness says:

Thanks for that. Your ignorance is telling.
