Fun and excitement filled the air at the Daddy Daughter Princess Dance held on Saturday [Oct 4] at the Berkeley Institute where little princesses dressed in beautiful dresses and wearing tiaras were joined by their fathers, uncles, brothers or other male companions smartly dressed in formal attire for this fantasy filled night.

Heart and Soul Productions in collaboration with Kids in Action hosted its second “Daddy & Daughter Princess Dance” with special princess guests performing throughout the night, including the favorite single “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen.

The night was filled with entertainment with food and refreshments available throughout the night. Local appearances scheduled included Keya Fun Approach Dancers, Dancesations, Mckenzie Hassell, Gemma Lightbourne of Bermuda Gymnastics Association, DJ Cofi, commentator Craig Tyrrell and other special performances & guest speakers.

Sponsors, volunteers and local businesses assisted with this event which saw a makeup station, nail painting station, tiara station, food station and more. You can view our second set of photos here.

    This is one of the few events in Bermuda which gives me chills at how amazing the concept is. I think it’s so nice our young girls/pre-teens can experience such an event WITH their Dads/Father-figure. From the dressing up to the make-up… really shows them that beauty doesn’t mean having to wear hot shorts/tube tops/vulgar. Job well done to the decorator and organizers of this event. I would like to see one for our boys.. please let’s not forget them. A night for Men – with their fathers/father figure as well. Shout out to the amazing fathers out there..
