The Y.A.O Baseball season continued this weekend and Bobby Bart went 2-2 as Big Red took home a 10-6 victory over the Blue Jays in six innings on Sunday [Oct 5].

Bobby Bart doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning. The Blue Jays couldn’t get anything going as long as Sam Resnik was pitching. Sam held the Blue Jays hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as Big Red scored three runs on an RBI single by Jaden Malpas. Big Red built upon its lead with five runs in the fifth. A bases loaded walk scored Bobby Bart for the inning’s first run.

Five of the Blue Jays runs crossed the plate in the bottom half of the sixth, making the score 10-6. A walk by Brett Baumgartner, a bases loaded walk by Kieran Kimberly, a walk by Kyle George, and a two-run single by Wyatt Woloshyn triggered the Blue Jays’ comeback.
