Prowling Charge: Men Remanded In Custody

October 10, 2014

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Oct 10], two men were remanded in custody after denying charges of prowling.

Devonshire resident Koeshon Smith [23] and Pembroke resident Dominique Williams [20] both pleaded not guilty to unlawfully prowling about a Spanish Point residence on 7th October 2014.

Prosecutor Susan Mulligan alleged that there was a school girl at home doing her homework when she was surprised by the sight of two men at a window. Ms Mulligan said that the girl ran, hid, and called police.

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner set trial for 17th October 2014 and remanded both young men into custody until that date.
