Basketball: Crossfire & Sky Force Record Wins
The CellOne Island Basketball League continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a men’s double-header.
A total of 82 points were scored in the opener as Crossfire Ballers defeated the RimRockers 50 – 32. Jason Simons hit a League Record 9-Three Pointers on his way to 29 points to lead the Crossfire Ballers to victory, while Ronald Bushner scored 8 points for the RimRockers.
In the nightcap The Sky Force defeated the Court Kings 60 – 45. Marcus Robinson scored a game high 18 points for Sky Force, while Jamie Parcel scored 13 points for the Court Kings.
