“Kamau Leverock was also invited but was not able to attend due to academic commitments. The four Bermuda players will join five Canadians and three players from USA and will play three T20’s and two 50 over games. There will also be fitness testing and skills training components, as well as opportunities to work with from West Indies Coaches and past players,” the BCB said.

Lloyd Fray, President of the BCB said: “I am very proud to see that the Bermuda youth program is continuing to produce international quality players that are being offered performance opportunities by the ICC.

“The BCB is providing funding so that no player will have to pay the $800 player participation fee levied by the ICC for this camp. I am also heartened that the potential pathway to CPL “rookie” contracts for the 2015 season is becoming closer to reality.

“This has been the brainchild of BCB CEO Neil Speight and he has put in significant work over the last eighteen months to bring this dream to within reach of our most promising young players. I expect that the four young men will represent our country to the highest standards.”
