Injured Bike Rider Discharged From Hospital

The 25 year old Warwick man injured on Par-La-Ville Road on Friday [Nov 21] in a collision involving the rider’s motorcycle and a car, was discharged from hospital after receiving treatment.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:45pm on Friday, November 21st first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Par-La-Ville Road in the City of Hamilton, near the junction with Church Street.

“It appears that a car was being driven along Par-La-Ville Road and a motorcycle was being ridden along the same road when a collision occurred in the vicinity of the Esso City Service Station.

“The injured rider, a 25 year old Warwick man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of swelling to his legs. Apparently he was later discharged. There were no other injuries reported; however both vehicles were damaged.”
