Line Begins Outside Digicel On Church Street
People have already started lining up in order to take advantage of tomorrow’s Black Friday sales, with two shoppers securing their place in line this morning [Nov 27] in order to be the first at the door when Digicel’s Church Street location opens at 4.00am tomorrow.
Digicel will be matched in their 4.00am opening time by Annex Toys, Brown & Co, The Phoenix, and P Tech, with Gibbons Company and Pulp & Circumstance to follow at 5.00am, while Audio Visual, ER Aubrey on Queen Street, and Mystiques Unique to greet shoppers at 6.00am.

I always thought we were better than the animal in the US who camp outside the very corporate outlets who screw them over on a daily basis to buy things that they can’t afford under normal circumstances to show off what their new device can do, which is only a tiny fraction of its maximum functionality, to people who don’t even care because they have the same thing.

I chalked off a square foot directly in from of the door and wrote my name inside of the square. This reserves my place as first in line and I will be there just before the shop opens, thanks for saving my place and don’t worry, I won’t be late. Can’t wait to get my new phone and plan to have it working in a couple of weeks or as soon as I get a job.

I am not better than the next person ,we have a different culture,and indevidually we differ again, each of us with our own determining factors ,rusulting our understanding ,social desires and serendipities…Every now and then do this one thing…pay a visit to a person without any choices in life….take a moment to realise just how “fortunate”,you are…
