Coopers Sponsors Miss Bermuda’s Wardrobe

Lillian Lightbourn is preparing to head to the UK to represent Bermuda at the Miss World Pageant after beating out seven other contestants and being crowned as Miss Bermuda in July, and she has been given a helping hand with Coopers sponsoring her wardrobe.

Cooper’s Managing Director Somers Cooper said, “ A,S. Cooper’s is happy to sponsor the Miss Bermuda organization for the 4th year in a row by providing this year’s winner, Lillian Lighbourn with the wardrobe she needs for her trip to the Miss World contest in London, England”.

“Our fashion expert Jacqui Neath Myrie along with our talented sales staff worked directly with Miss Lighbourn to make sure has a beautiful selection of fashionable clothing for her month long stay in the UK. We all agree that Lillian will represent Bermuda extremely well and wish her the best of luck at the contest in a few weeks.”

The Miss World Pageant will begin on December 14, 2014 in London, England.

      Somers don’t listen to this fool. He doesn’t know what he is talking about. He also doesn’t know how to spell “Clothes.” Somers your one of the only true business owners now a days. Somers is working hard to service Bermuda and the tourism industry.

    Lillian is a beautiful young lady who will no doubt represent us very well, and great to see A.S .Cooper’s, one of our very few surviving department stores, being so generous in sponsoring Lillian’s wardrobe. You really have to wonder at the mentality of someone who can find fault even with this uplifting story. Congratulations Mr. Cooper for finding a positive way of supporting a young Bermudian.
