Those seeking natural and healthy food now have a new option, with Twisted Sistah’s on Ord Road in Paget offering a variety of healthy food choices including teas made with local herbs, salmon cakes, veggie burgers, kabob twists and much more.

The eatery held their Grand Opening on Friday [Nov 14], welcoming people to come by and taste the variety of food and beverages that they offer.

Owned by Sonia and Ricardo Williams, Twisted Sistah’s is focused on offering healthy choices, and will be open from 7:00am – 7.00pm from Tuesday through Saturday, and on Sundays until breakfast is sold out.

Speaking about the food being offered during Friday’s Grand Opening, Ms. Williams said, “We’re featuring a kabob twist, which is vegetables on a stick served with a special sauce. We also have our twisted rolls, which is seaweed wrapped with fresh millet and and fresh vegetables, and it has our special sauce.”

“Another item that you will see today is the Twisted Sistah’s herb tea, which is made with local herbs. We also have herbal coffee,” continued Ms. Williams.

“We have something called salmon cakes. We make our own homemade burgers. We have lamb burgers and veggie burgers — not the frozen patties — they are made from scratch. Basically, everything here in the shop is home made.”

“I would just to invite everyone, members of the public, to come by here, Twisted Sistah’s Coffee Shop, and get twisted,” added Ms. Williams.
