“Smash! Revamped” To Be Held On December 6
On Saturday December 6th, Smash! Table Tennis Rec Center and Soul Food Promotions will be hosting an event called, ‘Smash! Revamped: Ping Pong Party, Art & Fashion Showcase by MOTIV’.
The event will be from 7pm to 12am, with an admission fee of $15.
A spokesperson said, “Never before has there been table tennis, art, and fashion in one place, but we at Smash are doing it and doing it big! People are encouraged to come out have some good ping pong fun, and enjoy some good music played by live DJs.
“The video game rec room will be open, and then there will be a special feature during the evening, where young up and coming artists and designers will do an art and fashion showcase.
“Shelbi Virgil and Chineza Augustus of MOTIV, will be featuring fashions made from recycled materials that have been ‘Revamped’ into something else. There will be art from the talented Nealjay Morris, and some others as well.
“All of these young people are hoping to finish their educations in art and fashion, and aspire to use their gifts to give back not just to Bermuda, but the world.
“They are hoping to get scholarships and additional funding so that they can go to school and continue on their journey in the world of art and fashion.”
