Shantoine Burrows Charged: Sandys Shooting

In Magistrates Court this morning [Dec 5], Shantoine Prinston Burrows faced multiple charges stemming from the November 11, 2014 shooting in Sandys. He was not required to enter a plea as the charges can only be heard in the Supreme Court.

Mr. Burrows was charged with shooting and causing harm to four people in Sandys on November 11, 2014. He is the second person to be charged in connection with the Remembrance Day shooting, following after Germiko Williams being charged last month.

Mr. Burrows was also charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm and unlawfully possessing ammunition, both on the same date in Sandys.

Mr. Burrows also faced old traffic matters and traffic fines.  He was remanded into custody and will reappear on December 12.
