Rainbow Alliance Launch New Social Gatherings
The Rainbow Alliance of Bermuda announced the launch of their new, free weekly social gathering, Rumba°r Rainbow Wednesdays at the Victoria Grill’s Rumba°r.
“The event is an opportunity for the LGBTQ community, allies, and friends to come together in a safer, inclusive space for networking and fun,” a Rainbow Alliance of Bermuda spokesperson said. “This new event series is an exciting step in fulfilling our mandate of creating safer spaces. We look forward to welcoming Bermuda’s LGBTQ community weekly for fun themes and events at Rumba°r, with fantastic local DJs.”
Island Restaurant Group has sponsored the event, along with Bacardi, and Barefoot Wines. The weekly Wednesday get-together will feature special rainbow martinis and sangria at happy hour prices. There is an opportunity to win a return flight to Toronto for Pride Toronto in June 2015, sponsored by Island Restaurant Group.
The first Rumba°r Rainbow Wednesday is on December 10 featuring DJ Lady Blazian, and will mark the celebration of United Nation’s International Human Rights Day. Visit www.rainbowbermuda.org for more information.
