Bermuda’s January Social Media Rankings

January 11, 2015

[Written by Don Burgess] Social media maven Shari-Lynn Pringle saw her Klout score jump four points this month and moved up to the fourth spot on the Bermuda Klout 50 List.

Ms Pringle, who is all about quality over quantity for her various social media accounts, is behind Bermuda’s big three; Fox commentator and former WWE champ John Layfield, and musicians Heather Nova and Collie Buddz.

Klout attempts to quantify a person or business social media influence through a variety of platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, among others.

Tied for the biggest points jump for the month with Ms Pringle was Senator Diallo Rabain, who received an outpouring of support after being involved in a traffic accident. The Senator is an avid poster to Facebook and Instagram and his score advanced from 66 to 70. The big bump lands him at tied for #8 with musician Mike Hind.

The Senator has the highest Klout score of any politician with the only other pol to make the list was Premier Michael Dunkley with a score of 65.

Jamel Hardtman also cracked the top 10 this month at #10 with a score of 69.

People’s scores continued to rise and the cutoff point to be in the Bermuda Klout Top 50 List was 60.
