Hamilton Venue Rentals 2015 Rate Changes
The City of Hamilton has revealed rate changes to several venue rentals, effective from December 29, 2014, with the changes including the City Hall Front Lawn, Nellie’s Walk, and the Earl Cameron Theatre.
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton annually reviews its rates and makes any necessary adjustments reflective of associated cost for the provided venue, with the City Council approving the rates by ordinance.
“New rental applications submitted after December 29, 2014 will reflect the new rates. All applications submitted and approved prior to December 29, 2014 will not be affected by the new rate changes.
“New rate changes for 2015 include the City Hall Front Lawn, with a new rental fee introduced of $200 per hour, and Nellie’s Walk, with new rental fee introduced of $50 per hour, and The Earl Cameron Theatre.
“Rates not affected include the City Hall Steps, City Hall Box Office, City Hall Foyer, Pier Six Cruise Terminal, City Parks, City Streets, and City Car Parks.”
