61 Year Old Woman Admits Stealing Vodka
Appearing in Magistrates Court yesterday [Jan 8], a 61 year old woman admitted stealing a bottle of vodka from Lindo’s in Warwick last month.
Ms Santokh Sandhu-Huny pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of Aristocrat vodka from Lindo’s Warwick supermarket on the morning in December 2014.
The action was caught on CCTV, and Ms Sandhu-Hunt was accosted outside the store by staff who called the police.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo ordered Social Inquiry and BARC reports, set sentencing for February 2015, and Ms Sandhu-Hunt was released on $500 bail.

A thief walked out of Harrods (London) with a bottle of wine worth £20,000. The 34 year old man snatched the cru Romanee-Conti but insisted he had no idea that it was worth £19,995 as he thought it was worth between £45 to £70. Sentencing was adjourned for an alcohol assessment requirement.
