Videos: 2015 Bermuda Race Weekend Marathon
The 2015 Bermuda Marathon Race Weekend concluded on Sunday, with the Marathon and Half Marathon races, which saw Benjamin Meto and Lyne Bessette win the Marathon, while Stephen Allen and Heather Kampf raced to victory in the Half Marathon.
Meto covered the Marathon distance in a time of 2:28:20, Richard Kessio finished second clocking 2:30:02 and Wesley Banks finished third with a time of 2:57:28.
The beginning of the Half & Full Marathon
Bessette finished 7th overall with a time of 3:10:17, Stephanie Hodge was the second female finisher and 9th overall clocking 3:16:45, finishing 13th overall was Laura Wright with a time of 3:31:44.
Allen and Jay Donawa recorded the same time of 1:12:33, but Allen was declared the winner, with Bryan Huberty rounding out the top three finishers clocking a time of 1:14:47.
The Half & Full Marathon Finish Line
Kampf was the fourth runner to cross the line she clocked a time of 1:18:05, Lauren Hagans-Paquette was right behind her in 5th clocking 1:19:22 and Rose-Anna Hoey was the third female finisher and 11th overall with a time of 1:26:27.
The race weekend started off with the KPMG Front Street Mile on Friday evening, continued with the 10k road race on Saturday morning and concluded with Sunday morning’s half marathon and marathon races.
