Weekend Arrests: 3 For DUI, 18 For Warrants
Over the past weekend [Jan 24/25] police officers arrested three people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme [STEP] continues.
A police spokesperson said, “Officers also arrested 18 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.”
Sad when police only catch 3 people for dui. Any night of the week between 10 pm and 1 am you are guaranteed to catch half dozen, each night. I know of one person who navigates East Broadway every night drunk as a skunk and have never been “stopped” let alone caught.
Something wrong here.
And the fact that you KNOW that and still allow this person to drive, continually, you should be charged with stupidity. AT least report it
