42 Year Old Man In ICU Following Collision

A 42-year-old man is in the ICU with serious internal injuries following a collision last night [Feb 15] at the junction of Crow Lane and Corkscrew Hill.

A police spokesperson said, “At approximately at 9:50pm on Sunday night police responded to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision that took place at the junction of Crow Lane and Corkscrew Hill.

“Details are limited at this time, however it appears that a motorcycle was pulling out of the bus layby and car traveling in an easterly direction on Crow Lane collided.

“As a result, a 42 year old man was taken to the KEMH where he is presently in the ICU listed in stable condition with serious internal injuries however, the driver of the car escaped unharmed.

“Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who might have seen this collision to contact police on 295-0011.
