Nahki Wells “Nursing Injury” After Reading Win

February 26, 2015

Huddersfield Town’s top scorer Nahki Wells — who took his goal tally to 12 in Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Reading — is nursing a shoulder injury, the Examiner reports.

The report said that the Bermudian striker “took a whack from” Reading’s goalkeeper Adam Federici, and was replaced by James Vaughan soon after scoring Huddersfield Town’s second goal in the 55th minute.

“Their keeper went for the ball, but it was a nasty collision,” Huddersfield Town manager said. “Nahki’s shin and thigh also got knocked, and he was winded, but he was desperate to stay on.”
