Electricity Policy Town Hall On February 19th

February 17, 2015

A Town Hall on Bermuda’s Electricity Policy will be held at Heritage Worship Centre New Testament Church of God on Dundonald Street on Thursday, February 19th from 6:30 – 8:30pm.

The promo flyer said, “The Department of Energy has begun the process of developing new electricity policy for Bermuda. You may be expecting another ‘Town Hall. style meeting, but the Department of Energy is taking a different and more interactive approach to public consultation for this work.

“To that end, we invite you to participate in a community conversation to share what you think is needed to move Bermuda towards a more sustainable electricity future.

“Sound policy is what will frame effective laws and regulations, so we invite you to come and explore: Critical Issues / Immediate Needs Aspirations / Next Steps. Refreshments will be provided. RSVP by February 17th, 2015 to rsvp bermudaenergysummit.bm.”
