Endurance Relocating Fokken To London Office
Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd, a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, said that Michael Fokken will assume the newly created role of Head of International Professional Liability Reinsurance, relocating to Endurance’s London office, subject to appropriate immigration approval.
In addition to these new responsibilities, Mr. Fokken will maintain a collaborative role on U.S. professional/medical malpractice and environmental business with colleagues in the New York office. Mr. Fokken joined Endurance in October 2013 as EVP Professional Lines with over 30 years of risk management and underwriting experience.

“Mr. Fokken joined Endurance from Axis Re where, during his ten year tenure, he was instrumental in establishing the professional liability reinsurance team and business. Prior to Axis Re, Mike held Special Casualty & Home Office underwriting roles at Transatlantic Re and Swiss Re.
“Mike spent the first 15 years of his career in Environmental and Construction Risk Management consulting.”
