FEI World Dressage Challenge Set For Feb 28th

The Bermuda leg of the 2015 Federation Equestre Internationale [FEI] World Dressage Challenge, an international competition, will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street in Devonshire, with proceedings to get underway at 12.00pml the vet check will be at 10.30am.

Two four-star FEI judges will preside over the event, including Mr. Mariano Santos Redondo from Spain and Mrs. Elke Hilde Ebert from Germany.

A spokesperson said, “This competition has now been running for 35 years, with an estimated 56 countries taking part in 2015. It enables the less experienced dressage riders in the more remote countries of the world, who under normal circumstances cannot take part in international dressage competitions, the opportunity to compete internationally without having to leave their own country.”

Bermuda is classed in Group 10 and will be competing against Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Barbados.
