The Gallery Set To Stage Second Exhibition
Submissions by Bermuda artists are being received for the second exhibition of the newly created Gallery at Canopius Bermuda, with artists and photographers working on island invited to submit images of their work to the selection panel for consideration in the mid-March show.
The new concept, which launched last September, offers a new setting for Bermuda’s visual artists to show and sell their work commission-free.
The Gallery, with its complimentary exhibition space, is located within the corporate offices of Canopius Bermuda on Par-la-Ville Road.
Twelve local artists participated in the inaugural show, with 50 percent of those exhibiting selling their works.
On-island artists or photographers who have not yet been contacted and have interest in making submissions can email canopiusart@logic.bm for more information. The deadline for works to be submitted for consideration in JPG or PDF format is Monday, February 9, 2015.
