21 Year Old Man Denies Possessing Cannabis

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Feb 17], a 21-year-old man was granted bail after denying a charge of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Shaquan Lovell will go on trial in June after pleading not guilty to a charge of possessing cannabis, with intent to supply, on 24th September 2014.

Prosecutor Carrington Mahoney told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that the amount was alleged to be just over 35 grams with an alleged street value of $1,750.

The Magistrate then granted bail of $4,000 and required a surety.
