Men’s & Women’s Division Rugby Results
This past weekend’s rugby action saw the Mariners Ladies, Police Ladies, the Renegades and the Police all record victories.
Women’s League
The Mariners Ladies got 2 tries from Amanda Swan as they defeated the Renegades 2 – 1, Kacie Gafney scored the lone try for the Renegades.
The Police Ladies defeated the Teachers 4 – 1, Jo Godfrey led the Police to victory with 3 tries and Isabel Van Der Westhuizen added the other, Corey Cross scored the lone try for the Teachers.
Men’s Division
The Renegades defeated the Mariners 36 – 19, the Renegades got 2 tries from Conor McGlynn, with Bennett Gibson, Jahan Cedenio and Greg Gardside all added a try each, Brian Archibold kicked 4 conversions and a penalty. The Mariners got tries from Chakote Wainwright and Wendell Anderson, with a drop goal from Ed Barnes and 2 penalties from Rory Dublin.
The Police defeated the Teachers 29 – 5, the Police got tries from Durnferd Davis, Adam Rossides, Sam Stevens, Anthony Sousa and Albert Oostheiser, while Dan Cole kicked 2 conversions. Ian Porter scored the lone try for the Teachers.
