Delta Airlines Flight #402 Diverts To Bermuda

A Delta flight diverted to Bermuda this afternoon [March 10] due to a passenger suffering a medical emergency.

Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson, Sergeant Russann Francis said, “At 4:14pm this afternoon, 911 Emergency Dispatch Center received a call regarding a flight diversion due to a medical emergency.

“Airport Duty Officer, Mr. Mikkel Harris, stated the Delta Airlines Flight #402 which was enroute to JFK Airport in New York, landed at 4:40pm.”

“The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service emergency medical technicians arrived on scene where they carried out an assessment, prior to transporting the patient to King Edward Memorial Hospital. The flight will be refueled before continuing on its journey.”
