Pink Route Ferry To Resume At 4pm Today
[Updated] The Pink Route ferry service has been temporarily suspended due to a “mechanical related issue,” with service expected to resume later this afternoon [March 19].
A government spokesperson said, “Please be advised that the Pink Route ferry service is currently suspended due to a mechanical related issue. We anticipate that the repairs will be completed later this afternoon and the service will resume.
“We will advise as soon as the service has resumed.”
Update 3.43pm: The Ministry advised that the Pink Route ferry will resume service at 4 p.m. today.
Ummm…..excuse me….how many boats do we have? Are there not at least 3 boats of each type to cover the 2 routes? Given the time of year one can accept that one of each type will be up for winter maintenance but there should be a least the other 2 in service.
