38 Yr Old Woman Injured In Two Vehicle Collision

A collision involving a car and a motorcycle at the junction of Woodlands Road, Serpentine Road and Par-La-Ville Road in Pembroke yesterday [Mar 2] resulted in the 38-year-old female motorcyclist being taken to hospital.

A police spokesperson said, ”Around 9.30am on Monday, March 2, first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Woodlands Road, Serpentine Road and Par-La-Ville Road in Pembroke.

“It appears that a car driver and a motorcycle rider were attempting to negotiate the round-a-bout at that location when their vehicles collided.

“The injured motorcyclist, a 38-year-old Pembroke woman, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check she was recovering in stable condition on a general ward.

“Inquiries regarding this collision are ongoing and any witnesses should contact Constable Odessa Philip on the main police telephone number 295-0011.”

It may not be applicable in this case but I personally have been subject to vehicles crossing the center line oncoming on corners more and more frequently….I am considering adding two go pro cameras for and aft of my vehicles to catalogue any infraction and assist prosecution and my insurance carrier…. my question is… if I invest in providing evidentiary legitimization of my correct skillset as opposed to any litigation or false claim made… will my insurance carrier reduce my premiums for my observance?

    The driving “madness” continues!! I think a lot of people need to retake their driving license privileges (rules-of-the-road)!! Far too many unnecessary accidents nearly every day!!
