The Bermuda Police Service are investigating two suspicious fires after a fire was started beside a vehicle in the parking lot of Harmony Club in Paget tonight [Mar 26], and a fire that took place outside a residence on Cavendish Road on Wednesday night.

Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said: “Police responded to a report of a suspicious fire that was started beside a vehicle in the parking lot of Harmony Club in Paget at approximately 9:45pm.

“The fire was quickly extinguished by a person in the area and an investigation into this matter has commenced. In a similar incident on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:15pm, first responders attended to a report of a fire that took place on Cavendish Road where a person started a fire outside the premises of a residence in the area.

“That fire was also extinguished and in both cases no one was injured. Both of these incidents are being investigated and it is unclear at this juncture whether or not they are linked.

“The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone in either location at those times acting suspiciously to contact police on 295-0011.”
