St George’s Streets To Close: Urban Foot Race
The Urban Foot Race in St. George’s will be held on Friday [March 13] from 7.15pm through 8.30pm, and the Corporation of St. George said, “The race will see several streets closed for the duration of the event, including Water Street East and West, Penno’s Drive, Blacksmith Hill, King’s Square, and Ordnance Island. Additionally, Water Street West will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 10.00am in order to allow for course set up.
“All race participants and spectators are encouraged to park at Penno’s Wharf, Tiger Bay car park. The Corporation of St. George apologizes in advance for any inconvenience caused by these temporary road closures. Events like the Urban Foot Race are part of our ongoing efforts to bring more activity and events to the town and we encourage you to come out and enjoy the race.”
