Tennis: BLTA Championships Day #1 Results
The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s 2015 Open Singles Championships got underway at the Coral Beach and Tennis Courts, with the top seeds all advancing.
On the Men’s side tournament number one seed Gavin Manders defeated Wilfred Gonsalves 6-0, 6-0, while number two seed Jenson Bascome needed three sets to defeated Jovan Jordan-Whitter 6-3, 3-6, 7-6.
In the Ladies Division which is a Round Robin event, number one seed Jacklyn Lambert defeated Kirstin Saltus in straight sets 6-2 6-1 and Kaylah Ming defeated Tara Lambert 7-5, 6-2.
