Dr Brown Hosts Reception For Howard University
More than 50 Howard University alumni attended a reception Wednesday evening [Apr 22] for new Howard University President Dr. Wayne Frederick.
Hosted by former Premier Dr. Ewart Brown and Mrs. Wanda Henton Brown at Gombey House, the event was designed to increase the financial support to the University from Bermuda.
Dr. Frederick, a transplant surgeon, urged the guests to continue their support of Howard and to remember the unique role that the University continues to play in the education of international students saying, “Howard is an iconic institution because of the service that is given by its graduates. We prepare our students to face the very real challenges this world has to offer.”

It is interesting that you refer to the removal of unearned privilege as “carnage”.
Ummm wrong!!! My referral to “carnage” is a direct reference to the BDA ECONOMY you destroyed!!! But of course you have to bring race into it didn’t you?? But being you brought up the subject of unearned privilege and you removing it, can you supply us with a list of your accomplishments??? I don’t think you should add the cement business in dockyard to your list of accomplishments because of who you gave it to. Two of them came from unearned privilege didn’t they???

This may come a shocker to you, but I am white, I started off with NOTHING and now am very successful, and this may come as an even bigger shocker to you?? I got NO HELP from anyone including the BANKS who would not even answer my calls after the appointment for a loan!!! I did it though HARD WORK and sacrifice, which anyone could have done ( BLACK or WHITE!! ) again I started with NOTHING!!!!!
