Green Route Ferry Delays Expected April 7 – 10

Maintenance requirements will cause service delays on the Green route ferry from April 7 through April 10, with morning runs to be effected.

A government spokesperson said, “The Department of Marine & Ports would like to advise the public that due to maintenance requirements there will be service delays on the Green route ferry from Tuesday 7th April until Friday 10th April.

The spokesperson added, “The delays will be on the 6.50am and 7.50am runs departing Hamilton to Cavello Bay, Watford Bridge and Rockaway. The ferry will be delayed by approximately 10 minutes. The Rockaway 7.55am is expected to operate as scheduled.”

    Why can’t maintenance / services be done after regular hours? Give the mechanics different hours to work so their work hours don’t interrupt the publics :-(

      Oh puhleeeze, that would make way too much sense. Besides by cancelling the early morning commuter runs they irritate & inconveniencethe most people.

      All part of the plan. Just like the bus service cuts.

    These are delays, not cancellations. 10 minute delays aren’t caused by problems with the ferries, they’re caused by problems with the employees.
