Woman Denies Possession Of Cash From Crime

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Apr 22], a 34-year-old woman denied  possessing approximately $27,000 cash whilst knowing or believing it be the property of someone else and the proceeds of crime or criminal activity,

Ms Abi Urica Rogers pleaded not guilty to, between 15 October and 20 December 2013, she was in possession of $27,393 cash whilst knowing or believing it be the property of someone else and the proceeds of crime or criminal activity, and that she converted the funds into US dollars.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo  granted her $15,000 bail and required her provide a Surety.
