Football: Bermuda To Face Mexico’s U23 Team

The Bermuda Men’s National Football team will play upcoming friendly match against the Mexico’s under-23 national team, with the match set to take place on May 22 in Mexico.

The match will take place in Mexico City, Friday, May 22, at 11:00am local time. It will be hosted at the National Team Training Complex, named Centro de Alto Rendimiento. Bermuda team will leave May 20, returning to the island May 23.

BFA Vice President Mark Wade said, “We are grateful and excited that Mexico has extended this invitation to us. We expect a keen challenge from some of Mexico’s brightest upcoming professionals, which will serve us well for our next round of World Cup qualifying matches.”

The BFA sai would also like to announce a time change for the Bermuda versus Guatemala 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia second leg qualifier on Monday, June 15. The match will now kick off at 7:30pm, at the National Sports Centre.
