Fire Service spokesperson Sergeant Jamal Albuoy said, “The training consists of a theory session immediately followed with a practical application. Individuals learn first-hand how to identify the correct extinguisher for the job and how to apply the agent correctly.”

“The public should be reminded: there is a greater chance of extinguishing a small fire in the early stages before it becomes large. Thus, it is imperative for new employees [and even experienced ones] be refreshed in Fire Marshall training.”

  1. Congratulation to all who’ve completed the training course: Victoria Borges, Michelle Carpol, Jonathan Jarrard, Andrew Phelan, Carleisha Seymour, Dorielle Battersbee-Hurdle, Ana Smith, and Erica Parsons.
It’s a course that I feel all restaurants kitchens and bar employees should take. Never under estimate the dangers of fire when allowed to get out of control.
