19 Yr Old Charged With Robbery Using Firearm

June 8, 2015

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [June 8], a 19-year-old male was charged with robbing a woman of her motorcycle while brandishing a firearm.

Tijuan Davis was not required to plead to the two indictable charges as they must be heard in the Supreme Court.

The first was robbing a woman of her cycle while brandishing a firearm. The second charge was using a firearm while committing an indictable offence.

Both charges arose out of an alleged incident alleged to have occurred on South Shore Road near Astwood Park in Warwick on 4th February 2015.

Davis also pleaded not guilty to a third charge that on 31st May 2015, he dishonestly received a gold chain, valued at $1,200, whilst knowing the chain to be stolen.

Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe remanded Davis into custody and required Davis to return for Mention on 22nd June.
