Bermuda’s Top 50 Twitter List For May 2015

We had two names drop completely off the Bermuda Twitter Top 50 this month — but that is only because they were changed.

With the merger of XL and Catlin, the old XL Insurance Twitter handle was changed to reflect this with its new moniker of @XLCatlin.

Also getting an upgrade was the Pink Lady as The Hamilton Princess dropped Fairmont from its Twitter name and is now known as @PrincessBermuda.

Webster Butler continues his climb up the list as he broke the 10,000 follower mark in May. Mr. Butler became the 17th Twitter account in Bermuda to reach that number.

Both Dudley Freedom and Elbow Beach Cycles both had a clearing out of followers with Mr. Freedom losing 14,000 fans and the cycle shop saw a drop of almost 4,000. Collie Buddz regained the #2 spot on the list with Mr. Freedom taking a followers’ hit.

Former WWE champ and FOX commentator John Layfield had modest growth [for him] and increased his follower count by 6,000 to remain #1 by a large margin. Christian Ledrew Fox and entertainer Devaune Ratteray round out the top five.

For the first time since the Bermuda Top Twitter List was started, there were no accounts that dropped out of the top 50.
