If your going to have an accident that would be the place…that junction has cameras…were they in working order?…most vehicles in united states now have front and back cameras…all rentals do…I would suggest we look into the same systems for Bermuda vehicles…subsidised and or reduce insurance for those with …as it would absolutely reduce unnecessary payouts for poor driving skills or reckless behaviour certainly good PR…as rates for insurance…(let’s face it),,,insurance rates are outlandish and prohibitive…OK?…if you think about it….cause…I felt the need to say it really…am I right or wrong?…left unchecked and unregulated…of course that “is” the problem now isn’t it…but that be the way to go?…let us think about this…of course we would need some guarantee they would actually adhere and see to our needs…some assurance that this would be above bosrd and all…would require a peoples trepresentative….maybe we could vote and pay for one utilising a tax system…I know!…we could call them politicians…we could have different departments or ministries and pay them utilising taxation and they could oversee or administer…yes we’ll call them ministers cause they will administer our needs…..wouldn’t ths

What difference does it make??? Why this so-called “accident” in the first place??

  4. Watcher55 says:

Wonder why this required an armed response?

    • Andy M says:

Watcher, if you were the victim of a crime or involved in a RTC like this would you care that the Police Officer arriving was armed or not? Anyway, all the best to my friends from Ft. Myers!

I could – maybe understand if the speed limit was 50 mph… But it is just 20 mph!!! BDA drivers appear to be very careless and hence a price me must be paid!! If you do NOT pay attention or think this is a “joyride”… Then some of you are going to pay a big price!! I hope it is not the loss of your life – or someone else’s!!

WAKE-UP YOU *ONIONS*… GET YOU OWN *A* IN GEAR!!!
