Man Pleads Not Guilty To Threatening Behaviour

Appearing in Magistrates Court 40-year-old Dennis DeCosta plead not guilty to threatening behaviour by pulling a folding knife from his pocket, unfolding the blade, and advancing on another man while saying: “I’m going to kill you.”

Mr DeCosta also pleaded not guilty to the charge of being in a public place and unlawfully possessing an offensive weapon, a folding knife.

Both charges are from the same alleged incident in Pembroke on 3rd June 2015.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set Mention for 26th June, granted bail at $2,000, and ordered that Mr DeCosta stay away from the complainant.
