18-Year-Old Admits Causing GBH While Driving

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [July 21], 18-year-old Raheem Ray pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to another person by driving dangerously on Middle Road in Devonshire on March 8, 2015; causing grievous bodily harm by driving dangerously whilst disqualified; and driving without a valid drivers licence.

The Crown Prosecutor told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that Mr. Ray was involved in an injury-causing late night accident at the junction of Montpelier Road and Middle Road in Devonshire.

The Magistrate ordered a social inquiry report, set sentencing for September 9, and granted $5,000 bail with one surety.
